Identify Your Mindset

Identifying your mindset is SO important. What do you believe? How do you react to situations? Do you trust the process? Do you refuse to fail?

There are two types of mindsets to think about: fixed and growth.

👉🏼 fixed mindset - believes that the skills and abilities are set. They believe they are capable of some things and not capable of other things. That there is a "cap" on the ability of their succession. People with this mindset believe in fixed traits and the inability to change.

👉🏼 growth mindset - believes that skills and abilities are changing everyday. Trying new things can develop new skills, and that opportunities are endless with hard work and constant dedication.

The picture below is another representation of the differences between these two mindsets. We want to attain a growth mindset. We need to grow. We need to learn. We need to love failure. It's part of developing ourselves and becoming the best possible version of who we are. People who practice this mindset are successful. They reach their ultimate goals.

If you feel as if you identify more with a fixed mindset, I encourage you to be conscious of your everyday thoughts and to understand the context of their meaning. Start considering the struggles a blessing. Start being thankful for every single person in your life and every interaction with them. Be willing to learn in every situation, and be willing to teach others.
